Fifteen years of designing software.
Now I build it too.
I'm Director of Product Design at Strata, where the work runs across healthcare, AI, the public sector and enterprise software. Before Strata I worked in-house at startups, scale-ups and large enterprises, leading design and design teams at OpenText, PerkinElmer, Miovision and Bridgit.
The part I care most about happens before any screen is drawn. I get close to users early and run real discovery, so we know we're solving the right problem before anyone writes code. Then I carry the work the whole way, through story maps, flows, prototypes and design systems, to testing with the people who will use it.
For most of my career the build was someone else's job. Now I build with AI, so I can take a product from the first idea to a shipped app myself, and what I design is what gets built. That works on a team or alone. I'm as comfortable leading designers as being the only one in the room.
